Usage Note 67467: New configuration properties in SAS® Risk Governance Framework enable you to control the handling of deleted attachments and views
When you delete an attachment or a view in a content release on SAS Risk Governance Framework, the attachment or view is no longer visible in the user interface. The object is marked as deleted on the SAS® Content Server, but, by default, it is not physically deleted.
To specify that an attachment, when deleted, should be removed permanently from the SAS Content Server, specify the following configuration option in the configdata.properties file (the default value for this configuration property is soft):
monitor.attachments.deletePolicy = hard
Note: When this option is specified, you can no longer view, download, or restore attachments that are deleted after the property is set.
To specify that a view, when deleted, should be removed permanently from the SAS Content Server, specify the following configuration option in the configdata.properties file (the default value for the configuration property is soft):
monitor.views.deletePolicy = hard
An additional configuration property enables you to specify how the SAS Risk Governance Framework should handle deleted attachments during an export operation. By default, when you export attachments for an object, the web application also exports any deleted attachments. To specify that deleted attachments should not be included in an export operation, specify the following configuration property in the configdata.properties file:
monitor.attachments.export.includeDeleted = false
