Problem Note 67439: Support for SAP IQ 16.1 with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to SAP IQ

A hot fix is required for SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) and SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) to support SAP IQ 16.0 clients. Once you have applied the hot fix or upgraded to SAS® 9.4M8 (TS1M8) or later, only the version 16.1 client is supported. Without the hot fix, attempting to use the SAP IQ 16.1 client with these releases might result in an error message similar to the following:
ERROR: Could not load /sas/sashome/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/sassiq (47 images loaded)
ERROR: /opt/app/SybaseIQ/IQ-16_1/lib64/libdbodbc16.so: version `libdbodbc16.so' not found (required by /sas/sashome/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/sassiq)
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAPIQ cannot be loaded. The SASSIQ code appendage could not be loaded.
ERROR: /opt/app/SybaseIQ/IQ-16_1/lib64/libdbodbc16.so: version `libdbodbc16.so' not found (required by /sas/sashome/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/sassiq)
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAPIQ cannot be loaded. The SASSIQ code appendage could not be loaded.

Before installing the hot fix, update the SAP IQ 16 client to the SAP IQ 16.1 client. Then, install the hot fix.
Otherwise, you receive an error message that indicates that SAS cannot load the libdbodbc17.so library.
