Problem Note 67410: SAS® Enterprise Guide® 7.15 and later might display Korean characters incorrectly
SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15 and later might display Korean characters incorrectly in the Advanced Filter Query Builder dialog box, as shown below:
The issue is caused by a SAS Enterprise Guide control that returns variable labels instead of column names, which interferes with input method editor (IME) processing.
A configuration option, EnableAdvanceQueryBuilderIMEMode, was added in Update 2 for SAS Enterprise Guide 8.3 to correct the problem. To use this option, complete these steps:
- Edit the SEGuide.exe.config file using a plain text editor. This file is located in the SAS Enterprise Guide installation directory.
- Add the EnableAdvanceQueryBuilderIMEMode key, making sure to match the casing exactly.
- For the value attribute, enter true.
Here is an example:
<configuration>
<appSettings>
<add key="EnableAdvanceQueryBuilderIMEMode" value="true"/>
</appSettings>
</configuration>
