In earlier releases of SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, the Optimization Progress window enables these actions: 

• You can move to a different window from the Optimization Progress window (for example, to open another campaign).
• When you move away from the Optimization Progress window, the process is still displayed as a background session.
• You can open the Optimization Progress window at any time during execution.

However, in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio 6.6, this window does not respond. That is, you cannot move away from the window. 

You can click Close Campaign Group, but this action is not user friendly for the following reasons: 

• You cannot re-access the Optimization Progress window, which means you cannot see progress.
• If a failure occurs during generation or optimization of input data, you do not see a pop-up message immediately that indicates which step failed. In earlier releases of SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you do see an error message.
• If you close the campaign group, an error message is visible in the SASCustIntelCore6.6.log file only.
• You still receive a notification when the upload or optimization either completes successfully or fails. However, you might want to check the Optimization Progress window occasionally because refreshing, generating, or optimizing input data can take hours.

The behavior where the window stops responding is a limitation in the HTML-5 code and how the Optimization Progress window is shown on the object-manager page.
