Problem Note 67199: Errors occur in SAS® Viya® while reading ORC files from a directory

You see messages that are similar to the following errors while trying to read an ORC file from a directory:
ERROR: A data value for variable ApplicationStatusId is out or range for its specified type.
ERROR: Unable to get the next row for ORCLIB.testlib.
NOTE: The DATA step has been abnormally terminated.
NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.

The workaround is to read the file directly as a file.
