Problem Note 67022: Running an SQL procedure query to a DBMS library returns the message "ERROR: sqlplan internal error..."

In the SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) release, you might see an error similar to the following after you run a PROC SQL query to a database management system (DBMS) library:
ERROR: sqlplan internal error: Cannot find symbol outstanding_group_key, var=190, tag=0001.
This message can be caused by attempting to make correlated references between two different items on a single FROM clause.

This problem occurs under the following conditions:
- The query contains an outer join and a newly defined variable that is a constant value.
- The new variable is included in a GROUP BY clause.
The workaround is to remove the reference to the newly created variable from the GROUP BY clause.
