Problem Note 67005: SAS® stops processing when TYPE=HEV and a CHOICE= variable value is greater than 999 in the MDC procedure

If the TYPE=HEV and CHOICE=(variables) options are specified in the MODEL statement in PROC MDC, and a choice variable value is greater than 999, SAS® stops processing.
To circumvent the problem, change the choice variable value to a positive integer that is less than 1,000. If the choice variable already includes all of the positive values from 1 to 999, there is no circumvention.

When a CHOICE= variable contains a value greater than or equal to 1,000 and TYPE=HEV is specified in the PROC MDC MODEL statement, SAS terminates.
