Problem Note 67966: Saving a communication definition by using the "Save As" functionality fails in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, saving a communication definition by using the Save as functionality might fail with the following error message:
Encountered client exception:The supplied date or date period is after the allowed maximum value.
This problem happens when the communication definition contains a date in the custom details. If you view the custom details for the communication definition in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you do not see a maximum date set. However, when you extract the communication definition using the sasmaextract uitlity, you see this odd date value:
<ModalChoiceGroup obj="p11" promptId="Group_1595496513686_968371" transparent="true" value="Group11">
<DefinitionsAndSubgroups>
<DateDefinition dateType="TIMESTAMP" max="19900-12-30T15:00:00Z" maxMax="19900-12-30T18:00:00Z" name="Date1"
obj="p12" promptId="Field_1594889827855_126179">
As a workaround to this problem, set a maximum date (for example, "31-DEC-2400") in the custom details for the communication definition.
