After the hot fix is installed, two new Tables preferences are available to control the navigation of tables. These preferences help when performance is affected by the existence of many tables in a library:
When you enable the preference Restrict number of tables displayed when expanding libraries, you can limit the number of tables that are displayed when you expand a library in the Libraries section of the navigation pane.
The Tables displayed box is used to specify the maximum number of tables to display. You will experience better performance if this preference is set to be a lower value.
Any changes that you make to these preference settings take effect after you refresh the Libraries tree or restart SAS Studio.
If you want to access other tables than what are displayed under the library name, click More at the end of the table list. Then the Select Table window opens, as shown below. This window enables you to scroll through or filter the tables to find and open the table that you want.
