Problem Note 66270: A selected date from a dynamic list reverts to one day earlier (-1) in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, a date value is displayed as one day earlier (-1) when you use a Process node to select a date value from a dynamic list. The incorrect date is displayed after you close the node.
This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:
- Create a stored process that uses date prompts.
- Use this stored process in a Process node that is inside a diagram.
- Select a date (for example, April 1, 2020) from the dynamic list.
- Click OK and re-open the Process node. When you do this, the date is changed to one day earlier (March 31, 2020).
Each time that you click OK and re-open the Process node, the displayed date successively moves one more day earlier. For example, if you click OK and re-open the node three more times, the date successively changes to March 30, 2020, March 29, 2020, and March 28, 2020.
The issue occurs only when you use a different time zone as UTC-5 (Eastern Daylight Time). You can check the time zone in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio by selecting About ► Build Date.
As a workaround, you can change the time zone to UTC-5 (Eastern Daylight Time) and restart the middle tier.
