Problem Note 66263: You cannot set up the Customer Intelligence Basic Campaign Designer user ID to use a Process node and deny an Export node
In SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio 6.5, setting up the Customer Intelligence Basic Campaign user to be able to use the Process node and deny the Export node might not work as expected.
To replicate this behavior, perform the following steps:
- Open SAS Customer Intelligence Studio and select Setup ► Diagram Tools.
- Right-click the Export node and select Properties. In the Export Properties dialog box, select the Advanced users radio button.
- Right-click the Process node and select Properties. In the Process Properties dialog box, select All users.
After you make these changes, log on with a user ID that is a member of the Basic group. When you look at the tools palette on the diagram page of a campaign, you should NOT see the Export node in the palette, but you should see the Process node in the palette, Instead, neither the Process node nor the Export node is listed.
When you log on with a user ID that is a member of the Advanced group, both nodes are listed.
Note: This behavior works as expected in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio 6.6.
