Problem Note 66311: SAS® Event Stream Processing Studio issues when there are a large number of ESP projects or SAS® Model Manager models
When there are a large number of ESP projects or a large number of published projects, SAS Event Stream Processing Studio experiences slow performance with the following operations:
- loading the list of available projects
- loading the list of published versions of a project
- saving a project
When you create a large number of models in SAS Model Manager, SAS Event Stream Processing Studio experiences the following issues importing models from SAS Model Manager:
- Only the first 1,000 models are loaded.
- Individual models are difficult to find in the list of available models.
- The ESP project does not show which model was imported.
The hot fix addresses these issues.
The hot fix also contains the following SAS Event Stream Processing Studio performance improvements:
- The Projects page loads a paged list of projects.
- The Versioning page requests only the versions of the current project.
- Saving projects is faster.
In addition, the project list can be correctly filtered by tags. Projects can also be added to an engine definition.
When loading models from SAS Model Manager, SAS Event Stream Processing Studio performs the following actions after you install the hot fix:
- Provides search capability for finding a model or a project.
- Displays all available models defined in SAS Model Manager.
- Displays ESP project metadata that includes the SAS Model Manager model name, project name, and version.
- Displays additional error messages if a problem occurs when importing a model that includes an ASTORE file.
