Problem Note 65671: Using a semicolon character (;) as delimiter does not work when you export a file in SAS® Customer Intelligence after applying Hot Fix Z77019
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, when you use a semicolon (;) to write to a delimited file, you enter the semicolon character as a sign to the export definition, as shown below:
With the application of a previous hot fix (Hot Fix Z77019), the semicolon is now available from the drop-down list, as shown below:
Because of this change, the semicolon is no longer used for existing campaigns that use the export definition with the sign. Instead, the delimited files contain a blank space as delimiter.
However, newly created campaigns that use the export definition will work.
To work around this issue, update all of your export definitions that specify the semicolon character so that they now use the value Semicolon from the drop-down list. Then, you need to edit each Communication node that uses those export definitions so as to remove and re-add the export-definition reference.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
