Problem Note 65569: The JDBC engine tries to drop a view and returns "Table...has not been dropped" when you use a DROP table statement with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to JDBC

When you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to JDBC with a DROP table statement, the JDBC engine tries to drop a view instead. When you encounter this issue, you receive an error similar to the following:

ERROR: Execute error: [Simba][BigQueryJDBCDriver](100033) Error getting job status.
WARNING: Table <name> has not been dropped.
