Problem Note 65525: Issues regarding ports occur when you try to use the SAS® FTP access method to communicate with applications like Box, Medidata, and Veeva
In order for the SAS FTP access method to communicate with third-party applications such as Box, Medidata, or Veeva, you must have certain ports open.
Site administrators would then have to open certain ports or, in the case of Box and Veeva, a range of ports.
A possible alternative to administrators opening ports is to use a web proxy.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
In order to have the correct ports open for communication between SAS and Box, Medidata, or Veeva, and not involve IT personnel, a web proxy must be used.
