Problem Note 65274: SAS® Environment Manager does not replace all images contained in a SAS® Visual Analytics report during the Mapping step when importing

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you are importing a SAS Visual Analytics report from one environment to another, the mapping phase might fail to replace all of the images in the report correctly.

For example, suppose that the report in your source environment has two pages. Both pages reference the same image. You use the promotion tools available in SAS Environment Manager ► Content to export the report package.

When you use SAS Environment Manager to import the report on your target environment, you use the Mapping step to choose a different URI for the image object.  Specifically, you replace the old image (URI /files/files/9f2d1b20-96e9-4d54-a05f-54d03c0943a4) with a different image that already exists in the target environment (URI /files/files/b33f8e78-3494-4d18-adf0-84c10ffaffb7). The replacement is shown in the following display:

The import finishes successfully.

However, when you open the imported report, only the first page in the report shows the correct image. The second page in the report still shows the old image from the source environment.

This problem occurs because the Mapping step in SAS Environment Manager replaces only one image in the imported report. If the report contains more than one image, only one is replaced.

As workaround, you might need to import new images directly in image objects in SAS Visual Analytics.
