Problem Note 65228: The setFields workflow command in SAS® Enterprise GRC or the SAS® Risk Governance Framework fails to set the value of a date field correctly

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use the setFields command in a SAS Enterprise GRC or SAS Risk Governance Framework workflow template, the command might fail to set the value of the specified field. The problem occurs when you use a locale other than English and try to set the value of a date field.

When the problem occurs, the SAS Enterprise GRC log file contains an error similar to the following:

ERROR com.sas.oprisk.monitor.web.workflow.commands.WorkflowCommandServlet  -
/Workflow?command=setFields&tpHandle=CUST_OBJ_2%7C11466%7C&x_status_cd=COMMUNICATED &changeReasonKey=customObject2.comment.setStatusApproved.txt&x_my_custom_date=01/30/2019%2012:00:00%20de &ticket=ST-16674-d9HjfIAzTnf2bYT3srwz-cas
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: x_my_custom_date=01/30/2019 12:00:00 de.

You might also see a problem when you use a Date data object as the source value in the setFields command.
