SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office crash when they attempt to connect to a SAS Metadata Server or a SAS Workspace Server.
This problem does not occur with either SAS® Enterprise Guide® 7.13 or SAS® Add-In 7.13 for Microsoft Office.
The issue occurs because the servers have enabled Integrated Object Model (IOM) communication over HTTPS. For information about this type of configuration, see How to Enable IOM Communication over HTTPS Proxy.
