Problem Note 65985: A SASĀ® Visual Investigator workflow task fails and you are denied access when you have more than 50 memberships
A SAS Visual Investigator workflow task can fail when you have more than 50 memberships.
When you claim a task, the workflow service checks to ensure that you have the correct authority to access the document. The datahub calls the Identities services to verify your user memberships and returns only the first 50 memberships. If the membership that authorizes access to the document for you is not included within those first 50 memberships, you are then denied access.
Because the membership order is nondeterministic and is not a reliable solution, a best practice is to not have more than 50 memberships.
