In SAS^® Visual Investigator 10.6, when you are auto-assigned to a task, a number of access checks are performed to determine whether you are allowed to claim the task. These checks are similar to what occurs when you manually claim a task.

For example, when you manually claim a task, you must have Search and Read access on the entity instance, and an Update access check is performed only when the task receives a page prompt.

However, when you are auto-assigned to a task, Update access is checked, but Search and Read access is not verified.
