Problem Note 64933: Scoring of a model might fail with various errors due to a lack of available memory
The scoring of a model might cause the virtual memory usage on Teradata nodes to increase to a level that results in the system running out of memory. When scoring a very complicated model, you might encounter an error similar to one of the following:
-
CALL Failed. 7504: in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SAS_SCORE_EP: SQLSTATE U0031: SASTblOp failed: Error Code 7504: in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SASTblOp: SQLState U1030: DS2 program failed on execution. TKTSExecute returned 0x80fff802.
-
in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SASTblOp: SQLSTATE U1010: DS2 program failed to be prepared. TKTSPrepare returned 0x80fff802.
-
Failure 7504 in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SAS_SCORE_EP: SQLSTATE U0058: Insert into OUTTABLE failed, probable column mismatch: Statement# 1, Info =0
-
ERROR: Teradata execute: in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SAS_SCORE_EP: SQLSTATE U0031: SASTransform failed: Error Code 9134: DS2 program failed to be prepared. TKTSPrepare returned 0x80fff802.

CALL Failed. 7504: in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SAS_SCORE_EP: SQLSTATE U0031: SASTblOp failed: Error Code 7504: in UDF/XSP/UDM SAS_SYSFNLIB.SASTblOp_Contract: SQLSTATE U1010: DS2 program failed to be prepared. TKTSPrepare returned 0x80fff802.
The workaround is to restart SAS® Embedded Process, which sets the virtual memory back to zero.
