Problem Note 64797: SAS® Model Risk Management or a content release on the SAS® Risk Governance Framework incorrectly converts dates that you enter manually
When you manually enter a value for a date field, SAS Model Risk Management might convert the date to an incorrect value. The problem occurs when the web application does not recognize the format of the date that you entered.
For example, if you specify a date of 28/12/2018, the system might convert the date to 4/12/2020.
You might see the problem in any content release on the SAS Risk Governance Framework.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After installing the hot fix, you can specify the following new configuration property in the configdata.properties file to prevent a user from manually entering a date value:
monitor.cpb3.preventDateEntry = true
You can also specify the preventDateEntry property on a date field to prevent a user from manually entering a date value, as shown in the following example:
<field name="x_targetDt" type="date" minSelectableDate="today()" required="true" preventDateEntry="true">
When either method is in effect, you must select a date from a calendar widget instead of entering the date.
