Problem Note 64669: PDF output that is created by SAS® might not print on certain printers

In some cases, PDF output created by SAS does not print as expected on certain printers.
The reason this issue occurs is due to a PDF compression feature, which is not compatible with Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and earlier versions. Some printers cannot accept PDF print jobs that use object compression.

After you apply the hot fix, to activate the hot-fix change, add the COMPRESS option to the ODS PDF statement and specify a value greater than 99. To preserve the original functionality of the COMPRESS option, specify the COMPRESS option with a value of xxV (where xx represents any numeric value and V represents the desired compression level). Here is an example:
