index_name' has the wrong number of qualifiers. SQLSTATE=42601."" />
Problem Note 64459: A SAS® Data Integration Studio job receives an error that states "The name 'index_name' has the wrong number of qualifiers"
When you use SAS Data Integration Studio, incorrect code generation might occur and result in the following error:
ERROR: CLI execute error: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQL0108N The name
"index_name" has the wrong number of qualifiers. SQLSTATE=42601
This issue occurs under the following conditions:
- The DB2 library has a schema value of SESSION.
- The index for the DB2 table is defined in SAS metadata.
The only workaround is to edit the generated code and remove the duplicated SESSION reference.
For example, you would remove the second instance of SESSION in this code:
create index SESSION.SESSION.index_name
The code should then appear as follows:
create index SESSION.index_name

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
An error occurs because of an incorrectly generated CREATE INDEX clause in an SQL query that is sent to DB2 when the DB2 schema value is
SESSION. The error message says "The name '
index_name' has the wrong number of qualifiers. SQLSTATE=42601."
