Problem Note 64347: Re-forecasting a SAS® Forecast Studio project fails or stops responding, and a Segmentation Violation error is displayed
In SAS® Forecast Server, when you re-forecast your SAS Forecast Studio project, you might encounter one of the following symptoms:
- SAS Forecast Studio stops responding, and a message is displayed in the interface:
Reforecasting the project.
- SAS Forecast Studio stops the re-forecasting process, and an error is displayed in the SAS log:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information:
The SAS task name is [HPFENGINE]

The problem occurs when a "model selection" list, and a combination list for a combined model, point to a common set of model specifications within the same series.
