Problem Note 64263: SAS® Home fails to open SAS® Financial Management reports that contain special characters in their names
If you have SAS Financial Management, you can open Microsoft Excel files (known as reports or forms) from SAS Home. If the name of the file has a special character such as an ampersand (&), then you might see an error that is similar to this example for a report named Profit & Loss:
The application cannot open the requested object. Contact
your system administrator for more information.
(/Products/Sales/Report/Year 2019/Profit)"
In addition, the path to the file is truncated at the &.
The only workaround is to rename the file to remove the special character.
