Problem Note 64252: Code on the SAS® Studio "Code" tab is modified after you use the Ctrl+Z or Ctrl+Y shortcuts while you are working on a different tab
Shortcuts to undo (Ctrl+Z) or redo (Ctrl+Y) actions in the code editor modify the code on the SAS Studio Code tab. The expected behavior of these shortcuts is that they do not affect the code when you are not actively working in the code editor.
However, you might notice that when you use Ctrl+Z or Ctrl+Y on the Log or Results tabs, an undo or redo operation still occurs in the code editor. In some cases, some or all of the code on the Code tab can disappear.
This issue does not occur in SAS® Studio 5.1.
The workaround is not to use the Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y shortcuts while you are working on tabs other than the Code tab.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
You use Ctrl+Z or Ctrl+Y while you are working on a tab other than the
Code tab. You then notice that an undo or redo operation occurred in the code editor even though its tab is not actively selected.
