Problem Note 64117: You encounter error messages when you try to use the IMPORT procedure

When you use PROC IMPORT, you encounter the following error:
ERROR: Unable to determine datasource type. Please use the DBMS= option.
The error occurs if you issue a PROC IMPORT statement without specifying a DBMS= option and your extension is greater than or equal to 40 characters.
