Usage Note 64815: Running CALL LPSOLVE using SAS/IML® might return incorrect results and generate an error if SAS/OR® is not installed
In SAS® 9.4M3 (TS1M3), running CALL LPSOLVE using SAS/IML might return incorrect results if SAS/OR is not also installed on the same machine. When you encounter this problem, you see an error in the SAS log. The error that you see varies depending on your system and sometimes indicates an issue that is not related to the problem that you are experiencing. Here is one example message that you might see:
ERROR: out of memory when running PROC IML
To work around this issue, you must upgrade to a later version of SAS software.
