Problem Note 63848: The SAS® Studio interface stops responding while expanded Libraries tables are refreshing
When you use SAS® Studio 3.71 and SAS® Studio 3.8 in both Basic and Enterprise editions, you might encounter poor performance in the user interface while expanded tables are refreshing in the Libraries section.
This issue can occur after you expand several tables in the same session or in a previous session.
For example, you expand the Libraries section in the navigation pane. You then expand My Libraries and various tables within a library. If you work outside of the navigation pane or sign out of the interface and then sign in again, any expanded trees under Libraries remain expanded. If you collapse Libraries and then select Refresh, you experience a delay in using the interface while the expanded tables are refreshing.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
The hot fix provides a configuration property, webdms.persistLibrariesTree. When you set this property to false, the Libraries section resets for each new session, and any trees within it will collapse completely if the section is refreshed.
