Problem Note 63645: Jobs are not submitted and "ERROR: Grid job failed to run" is returned or the option is ignored when you specify the startTime grid option
In a SAS® Grid Manager environment that uses SAS® Workload Orchestrator for job distribution, submitting a job call does not work as expected under the following conditions:
- You specify the startTime option.
- You submit the job via the SAS® Grid Manager Client Utility (SASGSUB) or the SAS/CONNECT® GRDSVC_ENABLE function.
When you submit the option using the SAS Grid Manager Client Utility, the program immediately returns the following error:
ERROR: Grid job failed to run.
When you specify the startTime option using the GRDSVC_ENABLE function's JOBOPTS parameter, the option is ignored and the requested session starts immediately rather than at the specified time.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
If you specify the startTime option when you submit jobs via the SAS® Grid Manager Client Utility (SASGSUB) or via the SAS/CONNECT® GRDSVC_ENABLE function call, the option does not work as expected. The option might be ignored or you might see the following error: "ERROR: Grid job failed to run."
