Problem Note 63374: “FATAL…Schema update failed…" occurs and the SAS® Model Implementation Platform middle tier server does not start when you use an Oracle database
In SAS Model Implementation Platform, the middle tier server does not start. This problem occurs when you use Oracle as the SAS Model Implementation Platform database. When you encounter this issue, the middle tier server logs contain messages that are similar to the following:
FATAL com.sas.risk.common.schema.SchemaDbHelper - Schema update failed, rolling back
WARN org.springframework.web.context.support.XmlWebApplicationContext - Exception encountered during context initialization - cancelling refresh attempt: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'modImpDataSourceProvider': Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.springframework.jdbc.BadSqlGrammarException: StatementCallback; bad SQL grammar []; nested exception is java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
