Problem Note 63346: SAS® Anti-Money Laundering is unresponsive when you try to remove or activate an alert in a case
When you try to remove an alert from a case, or you want to activate a suppressed or closed alert, the action might fail. Nothing changes on your screen. The SAS Anti-Money Laundering web application becomes unresponsive. This issue has been noticed when the underlying database is Microsoft SQL Server.
This problem can happen as well when you run the alert generation process (AGP). The AGP runs the %fcf_ent_dm_load_process macro, and you then can search to find the alert so that it can be activated. But the activation then fails.
To keep the web application from becoming unresponsive, there are two workarounds:
- Restart the web application (by default, it is deployed on SASServer8).
- Use SQL Server Management Studio to find the subprocess that is identified as blocking the application. Then kill that subprocess.
