Problem Note 63141: Port vulnerability scanning software causes SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server to fail with a segmentation violation
Port vulnerability scanning software such as Qualys and Nessus might cause SAS Scalable Performance Data Server to fail with several different error conditions. These security packages perform non-intrusive port probing on all open ports, which can cause the SPD Server process to fail with one of the following errors:
NOTE: The tcpSockRead call failed. The system error is 'The connection was reset by a peer.'.
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
