Problem Note 63069: Model group runs and task scripts fail with UnknownHostException errors after you implement a reverse proxy DMZ configuration
In SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench, you might not be able to run model groups or launch task scripts. The scripts and runs fail with unknown host exception errors.
The failures occur after you implement an external reverse proxy configuration with a demilitarized zone (DMZ). The middle tier uses a SASLogon URL, https://host-name/SASLogon/v1/tickets, which is not accessible.
When this issue occurs, messages like the following are generated in the SASRiskFinancWkbnchMidTier.log when debugging is enabled for com.sas.stress.rest.services.ModelGroupExecService. No SAS log from running a task script or model group is created when this type of error occurs.
com.sas.stress.rest.services.ModelGroupExecService
org.springframework.web.client.ResourceAccessException: I/O error on POST
request for "https://host-name/SASLogon/v1/tickets":
host-name; nested exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: host-name
