Problem Note 63017: A segmentation violation exception occurs and the system stops responding when you attempt to run analyses using sample data
In SAS® Risk Management for Banking, when you attempt to run analyses with the sample data on the Analysis tab, the following messages appear in the log:
ERROR: An I/O error has occurred on file _RSKJTMP._RISKJ_ENV_INH.INDEX.
ERROR: File _RSKJTMP._RISKJ_ENV_INH.INDEX is damaged. I/O processing did not complete.
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information:

ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
This same exception can occur when any process executes a RISK procedure step that contains a WRITELISTS statement, such as the following:
proc risk;

writelists out=mytemp.temptbl objtype=24;

run;
This issue occurs because internal processing handles memory incorrectly.
