Problem Note 63407: A "Cannot find any tables with the schema provided" error message occurs when you attempt to create an entity in SASĀ® Visual Investigator
In SAS Visual Investigator, you complete a profile on the Properties page in order to connect to a database data source. Part of this process is to select a setting for a Test button to ensure that the connection is successful.
After a successful connection, if you attempt to create an entity and use data from that data source connection, you might see the following error message in the user interface:
Cannot find any tables with the schema provided
This error occurs when the database type is Microsoft SQL Server.
To work around this issue, you must explicitly grant either access to or ownership of the schema for the tables.
