Problem Note 63142: Issues that are addressed in Hot Fix 5.2.1 for SAS® Event Stream Processing
Hot Fix 5.2.1 for SAS Event Stream Processing addresses the following issues:
- Allows the index to be set to pi_EMPTY in the Calculate window.
- Allows produces-only-inserts to be set in the Calculate window.
- Updates several JAR packages to reduce security exposures as reported by Blackduck scans.
- Fixes an issue consuming from multiple partitions for Kafka connector/adapter/client transport.
- Modifies the Kafka adapter configured with Kafka transport to not join the espmeta consumer group, in order to fix an intermittent time-out when getting window metadata.
- Enables the DFESP_XML_MIGRATE tool to now preserve CDATA tags in XML models.
- Updates the HTTP-SERVER element of a model specification to reflect that the ESP server uses a single HTTP port. Removes the HTTP-ADMIN-SERVER and HTTP-PUBSUB-SERVER elements.
- Fixes a memory leak in the URL and WebSocket connectors.
- Updates the Java adapters to correctly use the DFESP_CONFIG and DFESP_CONFIG_TAIL environment variables.
- Enables subscriber connectors to now finish when using the -EXIT parameter on the DFESP_XML_SERVER command line.
- Enhances the UVC connector/adapter to work with v4l2loopback, a virtual v4l2 device that allocates less than 16 frame buffers in kernel.
- Enhances the OPC-UA connector/adapter to support node IDs containing commas, by using the new OPCUANODEIDDELIMITER optional parameter.
- Updates the Streamviewer to enhance the user experience.
- Adds an optional Rabbit MQ connector/adapter RMQHEARTBEAT parameter to define the heartbeat interval. The subscriber thread sends heartbeat frames at the configured interval.
- Removes the recommender exclusion from the /SASESP/algorithms/score REST interface
- Enhances the Geofence window application programming interface (API) to support projection and distance calculations along polylines geometries.
- Enhances the JSON parser to allow copying of JSON values of type=real that contain an integer to an ESP timestamp or datetime field.
