Problem Note 63041: The SCHEMA= option is omitted from the connection string during pass-through processing in Apache Hadoop, and unexpected results occur
If a schema is included in a Hadoop library definition in metadata, Hadoop requires the SCHEMA= option in code for in-database processing. The option must be part of the connection string in PROC SQL for in-database processing that uses pass-through logic.
In SAS® Data Integration Studio 4.903, the SCHEMA= option is incorrectly omitted. This omission can result in unexpected results or errors during job execution.
The workaround for this issue is to take these steps:
- On the Code tab of the Properties window for the transformation where the issue occurs, change the selection for the Code generation mode field from Automatic to User written body.
- Edit the connection string and add the following missing option:
SCHEMA=schema-name
- Click OK to save the changes.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Errors or unexpected behavior can occur because the SCHEMA= option is not included in the pass-through connection string while performing in-database processing in Apache Hadoop.
