Problem Note 63004: You cannot export more than 256 columns in SAS® Model Risk Management when you export the objects displayed in a table
When you select the Export for Dataload or Export to Excel option for a table in SAS Model Risk Management, the export might fail if the resulting file contains more than 256 columns. When the problem occurs, the SAS Model Risk Management log contains the following errors:
ERROR com.sas.oprisk.monitor.rest.controller.GlobalControllerExceptionHandler - Caught unexpected exception, returning internal server error.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid column index (256). Allowable column range for BIFF8 is (0..255) or ('A'..'IV')
The problem occurs because the export operation creates an XLS file, which is restricted to 256 columns or fewer.
