Problem Note 62947: The error "The system is experiencing problems" occurs when you use Integrated Windows authentication (IWA) and log off before session time-out
When you use IWA and log off before the session times out, the following message is displayed:
The system is experiencing problems. Please contact your system Administrator
In this scenario, the following error occurs in the logs (for example, the server.xml log):
10:11:00,905 | ERROR | [[cas]] | Servlet.service() for servlet [cas] in context with path [/SASLogon] threw exception java.lang.IllegalStateException: This credential is no longer valid
at
sun.security.jgss.GSSCredentialImpl.getRemainingLifetime(GSSCredentialImpl.java: 175)
You do not encounter this issue if you wait until session time-out.
To circumvent this issue, apply Hot Fix B7P005 (for SAS® 9.4 TS1M5) or Hot Fix B1C005 (for SAS® 9.4 TS1M4).
This fix will already be installed in deployments that are shipped starting with Rev. 9.40_18w38.

If you use IWA (Kerberos) and log off before session time-out, you receive the following message: "The system is experiencing problems. Please contact your system administrator." In this scenario, you also see a "java.lang.IllegalStateException" message in the logs.
