Problem Note 62896: Middle-tier and server component changes for SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench 3.2 (Revision 18w30)
This SAS Note provides a summary of the changes and enhancements made for SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench 3.2 (Revision 18w30).
User Interface Changes
- Improved the handling of work groups on the Model Group Run page so that the Work Group drop-down list contains only Risk work groups (created using the script) and an RFW Capability.
- Improved the functionality for users, who are members of work groups, to create model group runs in the user interface (UI).
- Improved the functionality for cell references so that cell-based formulas entered in the UI export to worksheets correctly.
- Added the functionality for selection of work group when creating the process and for selection from among the work groups that the user is a member of at run time.
- Added the functionality for users to run model groups without administrator capabilities.
Middle-Tier Component Changes
- Enhanced the handling of hierarchies to retain hierarchy versions if a hierarchy is updated or added.
- Improved the processing of shock fade-ins and fade-outs for scenarios and Model Sensitivity Analysis (MSA).
- Added a check so that process definitions that do not have a transition to the last task are not imported.
- Added an _OG function so that the "as of date" for projects can be added to report templates.
- Enhanced the security so that only users authorized to access a project can access the project's attachments.
- Improved the handling of email and attachments so that users with permissions to the project are able to download attachments for notifications.
- Added support for data load by script to a project for the CECL content package.
- Enhanced the handling of the PUBLIC keyword for work groups to better handle various casings that might occur in application programming interface (API) calls.
- Enhanced the reporting API to accommodate newly introduced changes (cross-module validations and validation rule changes) in EBA 2.8.0.0.
- Changed the date to begin generating scenario shocks. Previously, before the as-of date was the historical period, and now before and on the as-of date are the historical period.
- Improved the log messages for archive importation failures when the import objects are different on the machine and in the archive.
- Changed the script re-running to not automatically delete the logs of the previous runs.
- Improved the log messages for the validation prompt about fixing process definitions, such as multiple start or end nodes for a process.
- Improved the handling of work groups by middle-tier APIs.
- Improved the hierarchy creation functionality for reports and worksheets for Regulatory Content packages that use EBA taxonomies.
Server Component Changes
- Added the model_group_run_execute API to better specify model group runs by entity and scenario.
- Improved the functioning of the model_group_run so that failed runs are handled with better error messaging.
- Added the Nonexistence check type Validation rules for Regulatory Content packages that use EBA taxonomies.
- Improved the Validation Failure reporting for Regulatory Content packages that use EBA taxonomies.
- Added the model_group_run_create function to the rfw_api module so that model group runs can be created.
- Added data map loading Lua APIs for use with Regulatory Content packages.
- Enhanced the worksheet_data_get call so that filters are passed by using scenarioName parameter and entity.
- Enhanced the project creation Lua API functionality to support the addition of more worksheets.
- Improved the functionality to ensure that validation rules are executed for the AE Module for EBA Taxonomy 2.8.1.1.
