Problem Note 62461: The error "The run...is invalid..." occurs when you modify or copy and resubmit backtesting runs that include previously registered scenarios
Problem
You cannot modify or copy and resubmit backtesting runs that include previously registered scenarios with the Calculate backtesting metrics configuration. This issue occurs after you migrate from SAS Model Implementation Platform 2.4 to SAS Model Implementation Platform 3.1. When you encounter this issue, messages similar to the following occur:
Error: The run "instance-name" is invalid. You cannot register scenarios for a scenario run with backtesting.
This issue occurs in SAS Model Implementation Platform 3.1 because you are unable to register scenarios for backtesting runs.
Workaround
For a backtesting run in which ACTUALS_DATA_SET is selected, set the REGISTER_SCENARIOS_FLG column to 0 in the run instance table.
