Problem Note 62435: "ERROR: Parse encountered identifier when expecting end of input ..." is displayed when scoring SAS® analytical store file model in SAS® Model Manager
In SAS Model Manager, running a scoring task against a SAS analytical store file might fail. An error like the following is displayed in the SAS log:
5577 proc astore;
5578 &performance;
5579 score data=&in_data out=&out_data epcode="&dmwb_code_file" store="&modelStore";
NOTE: The ASTORE procedure is executing in single-machine mode.
ERROR: Parse encountered identifier when expecting end of input.
ERROR: Line 1: Parse failed: having label n'Warnings'; >>> "_WARN_" <<< ; varlist allva
ERROR: [HY000]Compilation error. (0x817ff229)
5580 run;
To work around this issue, modify the astore.sas file for the corresponding model. The astore.sas file contains one line like the following, where targetVar is the name of your target variable:
put " ""I_targetVar1"" ""_WARN_"";";
You can either delete the above line, or replace the line using the following two lines. Substitute targetVar with your own target variable.
put " keep _all_ ""P_targetVar0"" ""P_targetVar1""";
put " ""I_targetVar1"" ""_WARN_"";";
