In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you might receive the following error message when you update counts inside a Link node.

This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:

1. Create a campaign that contains both a Select node and a Cell node.
2. Make the Cell node available for linking and select Use the most current data when referenced by a link in the properties.
3. Save the campaign, but do not execute it.
4. Create a second campaign containing a Link node that points to the Cell node that you created earlier.

When you then update the counts inside the Link node by selecting Properties ► Update, you receive the error message shown earlier in this note.

At the same time, the following error is displayed in the SASCustIntelCore.log file:

As a workaround for this problem, do not update the counts inside the Link node. Instead, click either the Execute Campaign button or the Update counts on selected nodes button from the menu.
