Problem Note 62713: A WHERE clause with a user-defined format causes a ". . . Libname path info not found . . ." error for SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you submit a WHERE clause that contains a user-defined format, the format should be defined in the FORMATS domain in the libnames.parm parameter file. If the user-defined format is not defined in that file, SAS Scalable Performance Data Server can fail with the following error in the server log:

SPDS_ERROR: Libname path info not found in SPD Name Server

That error did not appropriately identify the issue. The following errors now appear to guide you toward how to resolve this issue:

SPDS_ERROR: Cannot connect to domain FORMATS.
SPDS_ERROR: Format $format-name could not be loaded.
SPDS_ERROR: SQL passthru expression contained errors.
ERROR: SPDS Sql Passthru Error.
