Problem Note 62353: A segmentation violation error might occur when you use the OPENTIMES argument with the SCAPROC procedure through a REMOTE engine
When you use the optional OPENTIMES argument with the SCAPROC procedure through a REMOTE engine, you might receive the following segmentation violation error in your SAS® log:

Here is an example of PROC SCAPROC code with the OPENTIMES argument within a RECORD statement:

This error can occur when you attempt to access data via Remote Library Services (RLS). However, the code works well when you use the Base SAS® engine.
To circumvent this type of error, remove the OPENTIMES argument.
