Problem Note 62329: Launching SAS® Enterprise Miner(TM) Java Web Start gives "error: HTTP Status 500 - Main JAR either does not exist or is not signed ..."
Launching SAS Enterprise Miner using Java Web Start in a web browser gives the following error:
HTTP Status 500 - Main JAR either does not exist or is not signed: sas.analytics.emui.jar
A similar error might be displayed in the server.log file or the catalina.out file in this directory: SAS_Configuration/Lev#/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer11_1/logs
This error occurs after you upgrade SAS Private Java Runtime Environment on the middle-tier server.
To resolve the issue in SAS Enterprise Miner 14.1 and 14.2, select the latest hot fix for the release.
To resolve the issue in SAS Enterprise Miner 13.2 and lower releases, no hot fix is available. Instead, contact SAS Technical Support for a solution.
