Problem Note 62119: "Error in server side processing..." might occur when you save an entity page in SASĀ® Visual Investigator
In SAS Visual Investigator, if you save an entity, an error similar to the following might occur:
Error in server side processing: User does not have lock for object with ID person-50d14d18-536a-4830-a213-e0f91f64f7d5
You might encounter this issue if you perform steps similar to the following:
- In a workflow where the Start node is configured to write to an entity field, perform either of the following actions:
- do not add a Workflow Task button to the entity's page toolbar
- remove the Workflow Task button if it is present
- Start the workflow process.
- Create a new entity instance and click Save.
- Keep the entity page open after saving it, and make an additional edit to any entity field. Attempt to save the entity again.
This error occurs only if the Workflow Task button is hidden or disabled.
