Problem Note 61759: When you run the FEDSQL procedure on Oracle tables, it generates "ERROR: FEDSQL does not support 'long data when pushdown fails'"
When joining two Oracle tables using PROC FEDSQL, you might see an error similar to the following:
ERROR: FEDSQL does not support "long data when pushdown fails"
You encounter this problem when one of the Oracle columns in the tables contains the CLOB data type.
The workaround is to create an Oracle view without the CLOB column, and then reference the Oracle view when joining the tables in SAS.
